Vedic Architecture, also known as Vastu Vidya and Sthapatya Veda, is a system of “sacred” architecture which has been handed down through the Vedic Tradition of India from time immemorial.

Buildings constructed according to this system are traditionally understood to promote the well being, happiness, and good fortune of the occupants by aligning life with nature and her cosmic ordering intelligence.

All our consultants are certified Vedic architectural consultants, having taken formal courses of training, in addition to being traditionally qualified architects and engineers. To ensure quality control of all our designs, checking of Vedic authenticity both qualitatively and quantitatively is done by the certifying organization.

Raam Consultants, Inc.’s speciality is exquisitely finished solid timber structures (“log build”) built to the finest tolerances of Vedic measurement, proportion, and placement.

Our log supplier has a policy of planting several new trees for every tree felled for construction. Precise cutting and finishing of timber at the factory permits high precision in dimensioning (required in Vedic Architecture), as well as minimizing waste at the building site. Waste materials are efficiently recycled at the factory.

The thermal mass of logs allows our designs to be naturally energy efficient as well as allowing any structure to “breathe” in a natural way.
